Mental Health
1 in 5 Australians will experience a mental health problem in any given year. For youth aged 15 to 25 this figure increases to almost 2 in 5 (39%).
You likely know someone who is experiencing a mental health problem, whether that is a family member, a friend or colleague. In fact, mental illness is now said to affect every Australian either directly or indirectly.
It is clear we need more mental health literacy and support skills in communities and businesses to help aid more Australians experiencing mental health problems.
This is where Mental Health First Aid training can help.
Learn Mental Health First Aid skills with early-intervention training programs. We mobilise and empower communities by equipping people with the knowledge and confidence to recognise, connect and respond to someone experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis.
GBR offers both Standard / Workplace programs and Youth programs.
